Our vision at GracePoint Community Church
is to build the most imaginative growing church
in the southeast part of the Miami Valley - the
church of choice for the unchurched in the community
and a church know to be Christ-centered, people-focused,
and action-directed. |
MISSION
Our mission at GracePoint Community Church is
to help people discover and experience God's incredible
adventure for their lives.
PURPOSE
Our purpose at GracePoint Community Church is
to build friendships with unchurched people and introduce
them to a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ
and through relevant, anointed teaching, inspiring music,
and contemporary use of the arts, help them discover
God's incredible plan for their lives and challenge
them to experience the adventure of daily following
Christ in the real world.
Our Faith (Statement of Belief)
GracePoint Church is an independent (non-denominational)
church that is deeply committed to the eternal truths
of the Christian faith.
- In essential beliefs we have unity.
- In non-essential beliefs we have liberty.
- In all of our beliefs we show love.
The following is a summary statement
of faith for GracePoint Community Church.
- We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word
of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write
the very words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible
is without error and provides a reliable guide for
faith, life and conduct.
- We believe in one God who exist in three distinct
persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We believe
that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity
(the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to
man and to become the Savior of the lost world.
- We believe that man was created in the image of
God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated
from that relationship through sinful disobedience.
As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back
into a right relationship with God by his own effort.
- We believe that the shed blood of Jesus on the cross
provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins.
Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person repents
of personal sin and places their faith in the death
and resurrection of Christ as the suffient payment
for their sin.
- We believe that every Christian should live for
Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the Word
and daily yielding to the Holy Spirit, every believer
should grow and live life following the example set
by Christ.
- We believe that the church is the body of Christ
of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are
those who have trusted by faith in the finished work
of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify
God by loving and worshipping Him and by making Him
known to a lost world.
